Rosie is one of our long-term Foundation dogs who will be with us for life. Now 16 years old, Rosie came to us two years ago, struggling to adjust to life with blindness in both eyes, obesity, uncontrolled diabetes, arthritis in the hips and many infections. It took us many months to first get her weight down, so that we could manage her diabetes better and then major cataract surgery to correct her blindness in one eye. With all that under control she is so much happier and more settled and has made herself at home with her foster siblings and foster Mumma.Last week, our gorgeous senior girl had a major dental and many thanks goes to our wonderful Vet team who excelled in managing Rosie’s heart condition while under anaesthetic. Just a take a look at her now! Rosie is happy and healthy and is loved to the moon and back by her foster family and all who meet her. We think she’s just smashing!
