Each day, thousands of companion animals are injected or shot to death in our pounds around Australia.  Unwanted, stray or abandoned their lives are taken through no fault of their own other than they are on this earth. Rescued With Love asks you to help reduce the slaughter by taking positive action now.

FACT: In Victoria, it is law that all Pounds and Shelters rehoming animals MUST desex the pets PRIOR to sale.*

FACT: Petshops, private sales, backyard breeders and puppy farmers sell UNDESEXED animals.

Does it make sense for Pounds and Shelters to try and stop the flow of unwanted animals when no one else does?

OUR MISSION: To change the law so ALL pets prior to point of sale are desexed.

To reduce the number of unwanted litters, to stop unscrupulous people setting up backyard breeding practices and puppy farming let's change the law to make sure all animals are desexed prior to be sold to the general public, not only from Shelters and Pounds, but from every person selling a companion animal.  We ask you to download & print off our our petition and sign it.  Get your friends, family, co workers, neighbors to sign too. Download and print off as many copies as you want.  Once you have finished, please send it via the post to Rescued with Love Change our Laws and Save a life Petition, PO Box 364, Lonsdale S.A. 5160.

How is law changed in Victoria? It starts with you. And if you live in NSW, NT, QLD, TAS, SA or WA the same applies.  On the Petition is a section where you fill in your state, we will then send it to the appropriate Legislative Assembly for you!

We ask that you download our petition, print it out and get as many signatures as you can think of!  Once finished, put it in an envelope and send it to Rescued With Love Change our laws and Save a Life petition, Suite 9, 288 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy 3065 Victoria.
