What to do and who to contact.

1. Conduct a thorough search of your property and neighbourhood.

- look outside under the house, under the bushes, in sheds etc.

- Ask neighbours if they have seen your pet, door knock or letter box drop leaving a contact number.

- Place notices in prominent positions around the local area such as milk bars.

2. Contact a range of organizations to enquire whether your pet has been found.

 - Cover a wide area incase your dog has been picked up and taken to an animal shelter in another suburb or town.  If the places you call do not currently have your pet, leave a description of where they were lost and your name and contact numbers.

- Make a personal visit to all animal pounds and shelters that you can.  Take a photograph and registration papers, microchip details with you.

Always check the Vet clinic's in your area, make sure your dog's microchip details are up to date and put your dog on any lost dog register you can find on the internet.
