Dash is the three-legged super dog! While he may only have three legs, he doesn’t let that stand in his way of doing anything he wants to do. If anything, it just adds to his already charming personality!
Dashy Doodle is a loyal, loving little companion who loves nothing more than to follow you around, hang out or have an afternoon snooze with you. He loves a cuddle (or five), a scratch around the ears and to play ball for hours! Dashy can be a little timid and is scared of men at first, but give him some time and be patient, Dashy will be your best friend and you will see his personality shine!
Dash is wonderful with children, gets along well with cats and LOVES other dogs. So much so, that he will need a little friend to live and play with as he is an extreme social butterfly. He is toilet trained however will require 24 hour indoor/outdoor access - due to his amputation.
Despite having three legs, Dashy loves a play in the park and walks well on a lead, happy to sniff out what is going on in his neighbourhood. This little star would be suitable for a family with older children, a retired couple or someone who works part time or is home a lot. So, if you are looking for someone who is over the moon to see you when you get home or get up in the morning, Dashy is your man! Should you wish to adopt Dash, please fill out the information form and submit it. Should you be successful we will contact you between 7-10 days.

The talented Mr. Ripley is looking for his 'special' mate in life. Although practically blind, Ripley is amazing!! He gets around just fine, and LOVES going for walks if you would take him. Left alone and untreated with an eye condition, Ripley will require eye treatment to keep his eyes comfortable for the rest of his life. Is he worth it? You bet!! He will be your very best friend. He will love you, cuddle you, stay right beside you. Well mannered and not demanding he is one of the most beautiful boys, and we are going to find him the kindest of people to love him forever. Is that going to be you? We hope so.
So what is the perfect home for Mr. Ripples? Ok. He likes to be the centre of your universe. So no other pets please. He likes walks on the leash around the block. So someone who likes to stay fit would be great. He gets easily frightened and upset with a noisy busy household due to not being able to see properly. So a quiet single person, older couple with no small children would be his idea of heaven. Ripley needs kindness. Do you feel you are up to his standards? if you are, then please fill out the information form and submit it. We will get back to you if you are successful within 7-10 days.

Minnie is a gorgeous black and white hairless puppy who
loves to play chasey with the other dogs. She is a delicate
8 month old puppy who loves to be cuddled and adores her
humans. She would prefer another active, friendly doggie
playmate in her new home. Minnie is just adorable, very
lovable and so so beautiful She would be fine in a home with
school aged children but she does like to do pogo jumps
straight up in the air from a standing start so is not suitable
for toddlers. Minnie is quite hairy for a hairless dog but she
still needs to wear clothes all the time to keep her warm and
to prevent sunburn in summer so she would love her very
own wardrobe of doggie clothes. Minnie needs someone
who has the time to teach her the basics sit, stay etc.
If you would like to find out more about Minnie please ring
Linda on 9778 6242 and leave a message on her answering

What does Bellamy need? He needs an understanding family. Why? Because he is such a complicated little character! True, he looks a bit like a snaggletooth tiger, but how can you honestly resist that face? His ultimate aim is to get belly rubs at every possible moment, and to give and receive bucket loads of love. Bellamy's idea of heaven would be a home where he is the star of the show, and you will have front row seats! His favourite thing is a big stack of toys, and would be happy to share with a laid back 4 legged mate, but small children would stress him. And can you do massage? Because with Bellamy's mild hip dysplasia (he receives Cartophen injections 4-6 weeks), he likes nothing better than a proper gentle doggie massage being a tactile and loving little boy.
Bellamy is toilet trained, knows basic obedience commands, loves his walks and is good on the lead. He is a cheeky and mischievous fellow who loves chasing and playing with his toys. His quest to destroy his (so far indestructible) fluffy duck will keep him occupied for ages.
If you are after a loyal and understanding, snuggly and irresistible companion, then Bellamy is definitely your man. If you want to adopt Bellamy, then please fill out the information form and submit it. Due to the high volume of inquiries we receive, only successful applicants will be contacted within 7-10 days.

India is incredible. She sits, she drops, she fills you with love. For a little girl who was seriously beaten, starved and neglected her entire life, she has so much to give you. All she asks is two things. First, she is your only dog. She just loves people so much she needs you all to herself. And secondly someone who will walk her where she feels safe.
Indy Bins as she is known is a serious clown, she has a comedian side to her that will make you laugh. She LOVES to play with you, and lay with you while you watch TV. She is perfectly housetrained and is fine to be left alone for periods of time. She likes everyone who pats her, and becomes very excited when meeting new people!
India has a gorgeous coat and will need regular grooming to keep her looking magnificent. If you are interested in adopting Indy, please send us an Information Form and submit it. Should you be successful you will be contacted within 7-10 days.

Franklin & Alby
DMH Ginger & White Male – Approx 16 weeks old
Desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm & flea treated.
Will only be re-homed to a loving, caring, stable home environment, preferably together although will consider separating if we have to. Would prefer a home where they would be indoors only, or within a contained cattery/secure high fencing.
They are delightful little boys who are easy going, loving, and get along well with other cats and friendly dogs. Should adapt to most family situations, although a quieter/gentler home would be ideal, reasons below.
Alby & Franklin came to us with their brother at approx 4 weeks of age. They were undernourished and scared. It did not take long for them to come around though. It was apparent at this age that Alby was suffering from some imperfections. He walked with a considerable limp and his tail had been previously broken in a couple of places. He also has two different coloured eyes. He was a little bit mangled, and that’s how he got his name, Alby Mangles. There brother was fully ginger, and bigger than these two, so he got called Big Red. That left us with one more kitten, who after 2 days still hadn’t found a name. He was no name, so we decided to call him Franklin (Franklins no name). It actually really suits him now.
Anyway, the decision was made to care for them, and see how Alby went. He played like a normal little kitten, in spite of his limp, ate well, and has been in general, a delight to have around. Over time, with some good quality food, and lots of love, Alby’s limp has improved to the point that 95% of the time it is not noticeable. His tail will remain zigzagged for his life, but it does not adversely affect him in any way.
To look at him, you know he is not your average cat. His body shape is slightly different. He has had xrays, which showed nothing except for the old breaks in his tail. He is however not your most graceful cat, and we think his limp has slowed down his ability to jump a bit. He is slowly gaining confidence, but if he can find a way around it, he does so. For this reason we would prefer he remain safely indoors as he does not have the same escape capabilities. This is also the reason why a quieter home would be good. Kids are fine as long as they are gentle J
I am happy to provide as much information about these boys as I can. Basically we are just looking for a good home for them that will love them, and keep them as safe as possible. A home that will understand Alby’s uniqueness, and appreciate the bond that he has with his brother. They have distinct personalities, but both are beautiful, gentle little boys. They will make excellent companions and I’m sure they will give you as much, if not more pleasure than they have given us. (As other foster carers can attest, there are some animals that steal your heart, these boys well and truly have ours. If we were in a position to keep them we would, but we know there is a home out there just waiting for them).
If you think you might be able to give these boys a home please call me on 0416 240 446 or email Hayley at doozerberry@hotmail.com
