RESCUED WITH LOVE INC.

No one can ever tell us pure bred dogs dont end up in the pound - because they do.  Just ask 3 year old Barnaby who is a Havanese - complete with paperwork who was put in the pound by his owners.  Barnaby was not desexed, microchipped and had an out of date vaccination.  So tomorrow he will have all his vet work done by RWL and then he will find a loving home via us.  Welcome Barnaby!

And our other new little one is a 16 week old maltese girl who was dyed pink by her owners.  She has cherry eye which will be corrected, and also has had no vet work so she will be done this week, along with a bath to get rid of the dye in her fur.  Glad to be out of the pound, she is zipping around like she has had too much red cordial (or hair dye??) and was loving life immensely...we have called her Jemimah.  Welcome little Jem!

and meet Gilbert, who is the size of a grape at 1.6 kgs!!!  At 6 months old, an undescended testicle, and a serious Grade 5/6 patella, we will start his surgery tomorrow and do his leg surgery down the track a little.  But how can you not love our Gilbert?  Just look at this face!  Welcome Gilbert!
