Vale Little Lois.

Posted by anonymous on January 5, 2012 at 10:25 PM

Foster Mum and Dad Lee and Peter lost their darling little Lois (or Loee to her friends) at 4.20 this morning.  She was the happiest and brightest little spirit, and was always up for the run and bark across the back of the yard, and a play with anyone who would be game, despite her age and heart murmur.  She LIVED life, and did it well.  Little Loee came to RWL on 27/2/10, unwanted and placed in a pound, and found love and kindness, and a joy with Lee and Peter.  A special little girl who sparkled, made friends, and loved everyone.  Our very deepest sympathies to Lee, Peter and family on your loss of your darling Loee.  Vale little one.

Dear Lee & Peter, Sorry to hear of the loss of your little angel Lois.
I know the pain and huge gap she will leave in your life, but she went knowing love and kindness and that's the best gift we can give to these special friends who are entrusted to us, if only for a comparatively short time.
Love and prayers to you both.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely words, thoughts & support. Peter & I miss our little Loee so much. The big tramp bed lies empty, missing the little lady who would lie right in the centre. The back yard seems sad & silent without the sound of 3.5 kilos running up & down playing chasey with the unseen neighbouring dogs, until her tongue was virtually dragging on the ground. Lois lived life to the full, loved her food and anything she could get out of another's bowl, ran up and down the hallway like a little lamb, flirted outrageously with any boy dog she came across, and treated us to the most wonderful warmth & love anyone could ever wish to experience. Rest in peace our darling girl. It was an honour to have you in our lives. See you at the Bridge when our time comes. Lee & Peter xxx
