Tilly - all good.

Posted by anonymous on December 20, 2011 at 12:50 AM

Tilly has made it through a mammoth surgery. Our vet Antony did one side of her mammary chain and she was so stable, he managed to do the other side (she had some floppy skin on her tummy which helped). We hope we have good clear margins around the cancer sites, and by doing both it means NO MORE SURGERY NEEDED. We would like to thank Antony and his vet staff for their fantastic care of Tilly. She is now on Morphine, and will be staying in the clinic for two more nights and shall be home Christmas Eve. :) Tilly was just waking up when we were speaking on the phone, and she was doing great. Thankyou everyone for having faith in us, and in Tilly. We will keep you updated.

Tilly, so much emotion but no words to express the love and prayers coming your way. Kae and Linda, thank you so very much to you both and the wonderful Vet Staff.

Someone is watching over this gorgeous girl. Here's hoping that she can now concentrate on getting better. Home on Christmas Eve, just in time for Santa who no doubt will spoil her. This is fantastic news and congratulations to all the vet staff, RWL staff and Tilly's foster carer, you are all amazing people. Love to Tilly, xxx/ooo

I knew you could do it little girl !!! Lots of love & kisses on the way.
Linda and Kae, now you can exhale. You've been doing it tough too, but know that you made the right decisions to give Matilda the best chance to shine.

In a way it has worked out well that all the surgery is now over and she can heal. I just love this little dog so much - and I have never met her. How can I say than-you enough to the vet staff who have worked so hard and to Kae and Mum Linda - you are all amazing.
