Rescued With Love Inc. is a fully registered, not for profit organization. We are a group of foster carers who help rescue unwanted dogs from Pounds and Shelters. We have all their vet work done and then care for them in our homes, and teach them how to be a loved well mannered pet. We then find the best possible home suitable for their needs.
Here are their stories, some lucky ones have already been rehomed. Others are still waiting. Please read about them. And thanks for visiting.

Clover Moore, Mayor of Sydney has already attempted once to get her Bill (Regulation of Sale) passed in Parliament to ban the sale of pets in petstores. It failed due to massive opposition from the Pet Industry Association of Australia and the Australian Veterinary Association.
Clover will not give up. She has now introduced a new Bill, and will need everyone's support to get it through. Once in NSW a precedent will be set. There will be no excuse for other states not to follow.
This is a most urgent case needing your help. Please read below. Send emails to the addresses listed. Tell everyone about the Bill. We must help Clover get this Bill passed. Thankyou.

With growing community concern about impulse pet purchases and cruel mass breeding of companion animals, I re introduced my Animals (REGULATION OF SALE) BILL in Parliament this week.
The Bill promotes responsible sale and ownership of pets by banning the sale of cats and dogs in petshops and markets, and limiting advertised sales to rescuers, pounds, and recognized breeders.
Thousands of pets are dumped every year because their owners, after an impulse purchase, no longer want the responsibility or cost of a pet.
Last year over 50,000 cats and dogs were euthanased in NSW because they were dumped and homes could not be found for them. Thousands were dumped, but were saved by tireless rescue and shelter workers who try to rehome them, using their own time and money to clean up the mess left by the Pet Industry.
To ensure a continual supply of cute puppies and kittens in shop windows, animals are mass bred in appalling conditions. President-elect Obama announced he will adopt a rescue dog after an encounter with a former puppy farm breeding dog ho had vocal cords cut to stop her cries being heard, and who needed her leg to be amputated after rescue because the constant breeding had left her with osteoporosis.
Rescuers tell me that there are always wonderful pets for rehoming , and refter to their work as 'adopting' rather than selling, which describes better the responsiblities involved. In stark contrast to petshops and classified sales, rescuers employ intensive vetting processes to find suitable homes for abandoned animals. My Bill will make specific written information about basic needs, costs, and responsibilities of a pet mandatory before sale.
If you feel strongly about thousands of companion animals being bred just to be put down to support a multi-million dollar industry, please email Premier Rees at thepremier@www.nsw.gov.au and Opposition Leader O'Farrell at LOP@parliamnent.nsw.gov.au

Here is an update from Daisy's Mum. Seems she is on the road to recovery. Go Daisy!
"Little Peewee has turned the corner and is improving a little each day. She is beautifully house trained, and has not wee’d once in her crate on the newspaper. We let her out for a nanna walk around the garden every day (
Now that she is feeling better, it’s clear that she is missing her teeth. I gave her a chicken neck yesterday and she had fun with it about 30 minutes – lots of gumming with one foot holding it down, but followed up with fresh chicken and Mintie was very pleased to accept the mauled neck.
The coughing is subsiding and she seems to be breathing really well. She is in love with Mintie and keeps ‘kissing’ her on the nose and ear. Mintie likes it, but she’s not into occasional ‘piggy backs’ that Daisy tries every so often. Although their beds are side by side, she loves to bunk in with Mint, but of course that doesn’t last for long, as Mintie does enjoy a bit of personal space."
